Jazz provided a training to our staff on the experiences and identities of transgender people, including the intersectional experiences of transgender people of color. The training was both comprehensive and accessible to individuals with little to no knowledge about the subject matter. I was impressed at Jazz’s ability to address difficult subjects – including systemic oppression, homelessness, income inequality, and violence – both professionally and honestly. I received feedback from multiple staff on how great the training was and how much they learned.
